(Description from science fair project 2009)

For this experiment I will test the ears of various people at JMSO (the 4th grade, 5th, 6th, 7th,and 8th, also the teachers). I will use a computer program called audacity. I will have the person put on some headphones. Then I will play different frequencies. The frequencies include the ranges of 20Hz-50,000Hz. I used silence for some of the frequencies. The frequencies I used were 19Hz,20Hz, 25Hz,2000Hz,20,000Hz,50,000Hz and more. If they hear the frequency I will want them to put their hand up. I will record what the person was able to hear then I will put my data on a Google Docs. Spreadsheet. The Independent variable is the different frequencies.  The Dependent variable is whether people can hear it.
